The FAQ section below answers some of the questions we are asked about our services, but please get in touch if you have an additional question or want to explore further options.
Frequently Asked Questions:

Do you address abuse, anti-social behaviours and Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG)?
Yes. Our work supports prevention, early intervention and support across all forms of interpersonal abuse and harmful behaviours through themed workshops.
While national strategies continue to evolve, significant challenges remain — including emerging forms of abuse and the need for cultural change. Our services are designed to meet these challenges with practical, informed, and compassionate support.

Who do you work with?
We work with –
- Young people and adults (a responsible adult may need to be present with someone under 16 years of age)
- Victims and survivors
- Individuals displaying harmful behaviours
We also support businesses –
- Employer-employee relationships
- Minimise organisational disruption

What is a drop-in?
Our drop-in provision provides a safe space for an informal conversation; this may be in an educational, workplace or community setting.
Most sessions are one-to-one, though a trusted family member, colleague or friend may attend if appropriate.
All team members (paid of volunteer) must hold a Standard or Enhanced DBS clearance.
An Enhanced DBS is required to work or support those under-16s.

Confidentiality:
Safeguarding is central to everything we do and we operate in line with the Data Protection Act 2018 and GDPR.
Conversations remain confidential unless:
- There is a risk of harm to the individual or others
- There is a serious risk to public safety or national security

DBS Screening:
All paid or volunteer team members complete the Standard or Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service screening process.
Only those with an Enhanced DBS can support or work with individuals c under 16.
- Employment (paid or voluntary) will only start once a satisfactory DBS screening and references have been received.
- CareCheck provides DBS screening services on behalf of Project55(UK).

Cost for Services:
Like most not-for-profit, voluntary organisations and charities; donations, funding, or sponsorship are important to ensure those in need are supported during a difficult time. We are also aware that micro or small businesses without HR provision also need support.
The informal drop-in, online and in-person (location-dependent), is free of charge.
Consultancy, programme development, training and workshops are chargeable.
